A great start for some publicity for the book launch – Radio Stoke have asked author Susan Pickup to do an interview on Paula White’s show after Parkinson’s Uk circulated a press release about the launch of Smellebrities:

Suzi Quatro is backing a new book for charity that focuses on the ‘smell memories’ of well-known celebrities. 

Singer and song-writer Suzi, who features in the book alongside other celebrities including Sir Bruce Forsyth, Lenny Henry and Sheila Hancock, said she was really pleased to be involved in the project to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK.

Launching at the start of Parkinson’s Awareness Week (15 – 21 April) on Monday 15 April from 7pm at Legends, Sunnybank Road, Crewe, Smellebrities by Sue Pickup is a collection of special memories that are linked to a certain smell.

Suzi said: “I am happy to be a part of such an interesting book, smell being our strongest sense. And to make it even better, it’s all for a good cause. The stories and smells that Sue has collected are really varied.”
